At the foot of the Alpilles mountains, the remains of the town of Glanum date from two periods, namely the Gallo-Greek (2nd to 1st centuries BC) and Gallo-Roman (end of 1st century AD) periods. Its layout, impressive civilian and religious monuments and role as a sanctuary make it one of the most evocative sites from Antiquity.
