Here you'll find all the practical information you need to prepare your visit to the Glanum archaeological site.

Opening hours

April 1 to September 30
9:30 am - 6 pm 

October 1 to March 31
10 am - 5 pm (10 am - 4 pm on 24 and 31 December) - Closed on Mondays

Please note : last access to the monument 45 minutes before closing time.

Closed on January 1, May 1, November 1 and 11 and December 25.

By car

From Avignon: D571 to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, then D5.
From Arles: D17 to Baux-de-Provence, then D5.
From Salon-de-Provence: A7 or N538 to Cavaillon, then D99 to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and D5.
Parking available in the municipal parking lot opposite the site entrance. 
Single flat rate of €4 for cars (for 8 hours' parking).

By train

Avignon or Arles train stations.

By bike

The Mediterranean by bike route passes through Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

The site has been awarded the "Accueil vélo" label.

Services and visiting conditions

  • Dogs prohibited, except guides and assistance dogs
  • Large backpacks and wheeled suitcases prohibited
  • No changing rooms or lockers
  • No climbing on archaeological remains
  • No picnics in the archaeological park
  • Smoking and vaping banned throughout the site, both inside and outside the monument (in application of decree no. 2025-582 of June 27, 2025 on smoke-free areas, collective outdoor areas where children and teenagers may be present or exposed, notably public parks and gardens, become smoke-free areas)
